From perception to recovery.

As a Senior Mechatronics Engineer at Berkshire Grey, John has contributed to the design, development, and deployment of systems such as the CarouselAI automated workstation.

Developed by AutoStore and Berkshire Grey, the CarouselAI system automates the labor-intensive process of picking items for customer orders. Field note 01

Built for the complexity of real-world fulfillment.

The CarouselAI system relies on multiple capabilities working together, including container and item identification, precise placement and high throughput. Together, they allow the picking cell to handle the variation in shapes, weights, textures, and packaging found in real warehouse inventories.
